Construction of Earthworks, Site Servicing for 264 Lots and Roadworks, including Storm Water Management Pond. Majority of storm sewer consisted of a 1800mm x 900mm box culvert.
Permit required to cross the CN Rail as both a Sanitary and a Watermain were required to connect to the Proposed Subdivision by Trenchless Method. Original Design by normal Jack and Bore was rejected by CN and a new proposal using a SBU Unit with the Jack and Bore was later approved by CN. There main concerns were the significate boulders encountered within the soil conditions, SBU being a closed face and the ability to crush any boulders it faced was the preferred methodology for CN.
